All of the stadiums in f.w. are okay, nothing special. From the picture Reitz does have a nice stadium, does it have field turf? I've seen Carmels stadium its very nice, it has field turf. I've heard Carmel has the play-by-play piped into the bathrooms, can anyone verify this?!

Franklin Central, Ben Davis, Warren Central, Pike are a few of my favorites in the Indy area along with Heritage High School (easy in and out and a great view of the countryside), Fairfield (love the hill behind the visitors seats), Homestead (love the turf and Shopoffs for dinner), Delta (the tailgaters), and of course the Reitz Bowl. However, as far as just a simple atmosphere, the game I attended at Knightstown at a junior high field where people lined their cars around the field was awesome. I did not like Westfield (sat behind a light standard) and New Prairie (worse traffic flow) and I am not a big fan of any stadium with a track around it. One of the many things I like about high school football is to travel to different sites to see the fields, fans and games. My goal each year is to take in three new sites. This year I have traveled to Fairfield, Winamanc and Northwood. With that being said, the best place I have witnessed high school football at has to be Nippert Stadium in Cincinnati. The two years that the Herbstreit was held there were the best. Between the food court in the north end zone and the great games, it was the ultimate high school football experience.

I was at Carmel years ago and really loved it. Powerhouse teams year in, year out. I can't remember about the play by play in the restrooms there however.

Most teams I see don't have stadiums, they have bleachers.

Reitz is a lot more then just bleachers. To me, its the ultimate place to see a game. Especially when Reitz is playing. They have such a supportive fan base. At the regional game, the parking lot was full of Reitz fans and they were grillin, drinkin beer, and playin cornhole.

Reitz is an awesome place to watch a game, but Drinkin at a High Schoo Event, save that kind of tailgaiting for the NFL or at the very least for the students at college events. I dont think thats a good thing to get started at 15-18 yr old kid games. Its legal for the parents i understand that, but there is always those few adults that can spoil it. Just remeber these are just kids out there playing not 20+ yr old college players

I agree Reitz bowl is the best stadium in the state. It hold over 10,000. The Jasper/Reitz game a couple of weeks ago had it filled.
