I would love to hear what teams will make it and the reason you think they'll make it I'll take a shot at it, this is what I think!![/i][/color] 5A. Center Grove vs. Carmel. 4A. Indianapolis Cathedral vs. Fort Wayne Dwenger. 3A. Indianapolis Chatard vs. Jimtown. 2A. Indianapolis Ritter vs. Fort Wayne Luers. 1A. Lafayette Catholic vs. Linton-Stockton.There it is for what it is worth. Knowing all of the above and having about two-bucks to spend will get you a good cup of java at your favorite diner!
Reasons - Overall team talent, great coaching, previous tournament experience, and a few just seem to be on a roll right now. Linton-Stockton for example, while others such as LCC just seem to have more team talent. Any combination of these factors will get you to LOS on turkey day weekend. Just my opinion.[/i][/b]

I agree with CRANKY except for one final 3A- Indianapolis Chartard vs. Eastbrook. I think Eastbrook has proven themselves in sectionals more than Jimtown has.

MAN!!!!!! Just like the basketball side,,,,no love for the SMALL 3A school in the Southeastern part of the Great State Of Indiana. No press or media coverage from either Indy or Cincy, no mentions on this website, and the blurb the Indy Star has on their site quote more from the losing coach than the winning coach....... NO RESPECT FROM ANYWHERE, just like Rodney Dangerfield. This is exactly some of the fuel that is feeding the minds and will of the UNDEFEATED underDOGS .......the SLEEPERS........The BATESVILLE BULLDOGS. Yes, they have the #1 Chatard Trojans to play this Friday. They will be outmanned, over-talented and basically overshadowed by the Trojans.......BUT, they have coaching, HEART, and enough players in the skill positions to make a game of this supposed-to-be-blowout. This should be one of the best games in the state this weekend. Not to mention, when the Bulldogs play any team named the Trojans, it has a special meaning......Ask the players at East Central. GOOD LUCK to both teams........but don't count the 'DOGS out until the fat lady sings........and right now she has H1N1.

Have no problem with the predictions. All very good teams deserving consideration. But for some reason I cant find Lewis Cass in these predictions. lol You guys know more than I. I have the time to focus on one team, and that team I think has a shot to go to the drum again. I like their coaching, ability, and heart. Where I come from that is as important as tournament experience and ect... What ever or whomever plays at the drum Thanksgiving weekend above all else, good luck and no injuries. God bless

5a) Carmel Vs CG. should be a great game again sounds like CG is peaking at the right time! and the Wing T might be one of the toughest offenses to stop i had to play against it and it's extremely complicated to stop. Wish my Greyhounds could get there offense going, HSE shut them down last week literally in the 2nd half couldnt do anything
4a) This might be one of best teams that Dweger has ever had! they have spanked everyone in Ft Wayne this year, Too bad for them cause Catherdral is 4a and prob the best team of any class this year . i see your team reitzgirl giving Catherdral a game but i personally think Catherdral UNIVERSITY will prevail too much kofi hughes!
3a) Ill take Chatard about like Cathedral too consistently good until someone proves otherwise! against jimtown JIMMIES
2a) Heres one for you guys HOW ABOUT MONROVIA ill go out on a limb vs Rensselaer Central, I have heard they have a oretty good team this year and Luers is down this year boys and girls! good chance of upset
1a) Laf Catholic again will make it Against ill take Fountain Central. dont know much about these tiny schools although Linton Stockton is good too.

My selections are who I think we will see at Lucas and then who I hope to see at Lucas:
Who will be there: 5A - Carmel vs. Center Grove 4A - Ind. Cathedral vs. Ft. Wayne Dwenger 3A - West Lafayette vs. Ind. Chatard 2A - Ft. Wayne Luers vs. Ind. Ritter A - Lafayette Central Catholic vs. Ind. Lutheran
Who I would like to be there: 5A - Mishawaka vs. Floyd Central 4A - Hammond Morton vs. East Central 3A - Batesville vs. Eastbrook 2A - Rensselear Central vs. Paoli A - Southern Wells vs. Fountain Central
As is apparent, I want to see fresh faces and public schools in the finals, but really do not think that is likely.

I think most people have Cathedral winning the 4a title just as they did last year. But, a Dwenger mistake gave them great ball position (13 yrd line) to score their only seven points. Other than that they really didn't get close to scoring seven points. Plus, Dwenger missed a couple of field goals. Cathedral is VERY good, but I think we are better than people think. With that being said, we have to win two more games to get to that point. Delta is a good team, but Lowell scares me and its at their place. We lost there, with I think, was the best offensive team Dwenger ever had with Goodman and others. I look forward to that game if we beat Delta. I hope people get on and talk up a school.

I am amazed people are picking Jimtown to represent the north in 3A. Everybody is overlooking Andrean, and they have played about as impressive of a schedule as any other 3A team. The only other team I noticed that played a similar schedule in difficulty is Evansville Memorial. I didn't expect anybody to pick a region team to make it to state, but I'll give you 2.
Lowell and Andrean.
Andrean is very battle tested and has played a way more impressive schedule than any other 3A team remaining in the north. Jimtown struggled with Knox and John Glenn, and they are average teams at best. Andrean should win this game by a couple of scores. Richard Schmidt, Andrean's QB, is a name you should all watch out for. He is by far the best QB in northwest indiana and I see him willing his team to state.
You should all know about Lowell by now. They have a tough game this week vs. Morton but they should win that game by a couple of scores. Even though people say Dwenger is the team to beat in the north, they would still have to play at the Inferno. And Lowell hasn't lost there in over 2 years. Not to mention they have Brandon Grubbe, who is about to surpass the 2,000 yard mark in rushing this season and currently ranked 24th all-time in the state. This Lowell team is actually playing better than last year's team, so Dwenger better be ready.
Nobody really represents the "region" on this board so somebody has to do it!
There's my 2 cents

jtjrmoney8...................Looks like a heavyweight battle next friday. I think the energy for that game could light up northern Indiana. I'm ready for the drive and I wish your team good luck.

I believe we are going to witness a classic next SATURDAY with Dwenger and Lowell. Lowell looked really impressive tonight and just dominated Morton. The defense was tenacious and created 5 turnovers, turning them into 35 points. I wish the Saints the best of luck, its definitely going to be fun to watch!

From what i saw friday night, Luers has a potent offence. They are well coached and execute. I see them winning the 2a title again. Still having a hard time with being 2 yrds short of still playing. Kudos to Luers for the stop!

All year long the people of the WCC thought the conference was down this year. Come to find, the defence was better than expected.
