5:35 left in the fourth. Looks like the Panthers will make the trip to LOS next saturday. I'll admit I am surprised at the way this game is unfolding. The Panthers are playing their best at the right time. Early congrats to Reitz.

Cathedral scores, trails 31-10, recover an onside kick.... Hold on, maybe this thing isn't over yet. 4:35 to go.

3:29 to go. Reitz picks off Cathedral pass. The final nail in the coffin, that should seal it.

Congratulations to you reitzgirl90 .... And congratulations to those "High-flying" Reitz Panthers, that was quite a performance by the Reitz team, and a humongous display of football talent by Mr. Mac. Let's wish them well in the trophy game! Beat Lowell!

I thought cathedral would easily win the 4A title.

I thought cathedral would easily win the 4A title. You're definetly not alone on that thought, probably 80 to 90 per cent of knowlegdable fans would have agreed with you. I'll have to admit I also figured for Cathedral for a two touchdown favorite. If there is one thing though, that I have learned about sports, on any given day, almost any team can surprise a supposedly "better team", especially in cases where the competition level is high, i.e. regional, semi-state and state finals. But this year in Indiana's football tournament, we seem to have had more than the usual amount of upsets. Dwenger and Chatard are two additional examples of at least mild upsets, even though, most would consider them huge upsets.

Having had the privalage of seeing memorial and reitz and judging by the scores it doesnt appear as upsets, maybe the best teams won

Since they won and won big, that gives your statement credence.....Who would win if the matchups had been best-of-five?? Who knows. ...... Like you said, the scores indicate that Reitz and Memorial are the better teams. But I am a "doubting thomas" by nature, so I am not completely comfortable with that notion..... One thing is for sure, I will be cheering for both this weekend to bring the trophies south.

Im so glad that Reitz and Memorial will be representing the south. Im extremely proud of the Panthers, they played with everything they had and they out played Cathedral. I was nervous about the game, thinking it was going to be like the last time we met up with the Irish. Now, the boys are headed up for another rematch, except with Lowell. I know they have to be a good team to get this far, but I think the Panthers will take home the trophy again. I hope memorial is able to win as well. I know a lot of Reitz fans are headed to Indy early to see Memorials game, and i think that says a lot about the support system down here for any team that makes it.

I really think that Reitz could beat Lowell. Does anybody know how good Lowell is?
