O and the defense in the horizon league is not even close to the physical defense in the big 10

I thought Zeller played in the ACC. Now thats a league definitely not known for their defense. The biggest difference is in the Horizon big guys will get doubled a lot more and in the BCS conferences big guys get to go against one guy normally. Butcher averaged around 27 a game in 3a bball and is certainly not dominating the Horizon or even close to Hayward.

Hayward was offered by Purdue and Matt Howard was offered by both Indiana and Purdue.

People on this board really struggle with verifying some facts. The trio of Hayward, Howard, and Mack is as good as there is in the country. Butler is basically a team of sophomore and already are what they are. As far as the Big Ten goes, you might go to bbstate.com to see how those games have went - Butler has basically owned the Big Ten.
How many years of irrelevance will it take before you mindless zombies in red to figure out the new reality?

Why do you always have to result to name calling? Thats what little children do or someone who has nothing intelligent to say. Do I really need to go and find out every school that offered him? If Indiana and Purdue both offer a Zeller it is the greatest thing in the world but its just not enough for Washington fans if its another Indiana kid. Its starting to look like you guys don't really root for all Indiana kids. Oh and Gordon had 23 points and 14 rebounds against Xavier yesterday. Xavier actually plays defense too.

You're right, Xavier has been to the elite eight 3 of the last four years a feat Texas has not been able to duplicate. I guess its not fair to put Texas up on the same level as Xavier.

Does it really matter how many BCS offers each had (which were several) or is it more important how they perform at the d1 level. Luke Zeller was the only McDonalds all-american on Notre Dame and could hardly see the floor. Luke Harrongody had very little hype coming out of high school and has been in the national player of the year running for three straight years. Didn't Butler beat Notre Dame while Zeller was there?

Your right my stats were off a little by less than a single digit you on the other hand said xavier had been to the elite eight 3 times in 4 years which was not even close that is i would say a little worse especially when you were saying that they were better than texas because of this stat which was completely wrong.

You guys keep saying mid-majors don't win national championships. Well here is a list of one's that have. Wyoming, Utah, Holy Cross, CCNY, LaSalle, San Fransisco(2), Loyola(Ill), UTEP, andUNLV.... Also Memphis, Utah, Umass, Indiana St, and UNLV have all played in the championship game in the las 30 years.
