My surprise of the night so far is Terre Haute South defeating Lawrence North. What's up with that?!

Meet the Wildcats who played against Carmel. We needed that win to stay alive in the MIC title. One thing it shows is that we can't come behind from a halftime deficit. Every game the 'Cats have won they've led at halftime (exception: Ben Davis was 7-7 at halftime). I think that loss proved we're not ready to upset WC yet... I'd like to thank Will Patterson for putting us back in that game and the rest of the defense for getting us back out of it...

We play Richmond at Richmond and then at North Central/Franklin Central
We could get WC at home if Arlington beats Lawrence Central and North Central beats Franklin Central.
Some other thoughts
Our defense couldn't stop the sweep against THS and they ran that time and time again. You'd see the I think he's the WB move in motion, and that play would generally indicate the sweep. If we can't penetrate the outside, we're gonna have a LONG night Friday, since option plays generally go to the outside, and we know how dangerous WC is with that option...
I believe J.T. Owens should return to the lineup for WC, so that will be a big plus in the running game, even though he'll be running behind a banged up OL

here is a real dose of reality regarding this years ihsaa football championships-five-A---warren central--they could beat a team comprised of players from any/all s chools within the state and still win convincingly! Four-A: cathedral -i have had the privilege of seeing them and they are well -balanced on both sides of the ball and possess a very solid offense that includes superb passing and splendid running! plus they are highly-emotionally charged as a result of the losing a team member due to unforseen circumstances.

Warren Central may be able to compete with colleges and win based on the way how they've been playing

During practice today Coach Dilley mentioned that WC's kickoff coverage is the best in the state... Because they do it so many times
