Does anyone know about the section locations? Are the locations still the same?

Since the assignments are complete the IHSAA will contact and review the schools to see who can and wants to host. I think they will announce in the fall.

I think the teams involved in each sectional get some say in which school gets to host a sectional

Something to think about here: Have you ever went to your assigned sectional and wondered why a team is GIVEN a big advantage over another by the IHSAA? I have said this since the late 60's and stand by it today. NO team should play any round of the IHSAA playoffs on their home floor. Why should 1 team have no travel to get to their games, most dress in their own locker rooms, familiar facilities, including the court and the rims you practice on year-round, home-cooked meals, and maybe even home-cooked officials. I know it has more to do about logistics,,,,but since class basketball started, there is at least 1 team in every sectional that has to travel a lot farther for their assigned sectional. Connersville always hosted their sectional and regional,,,,,and guess what team won the majority of those tourneys?
