Woo Hoo, I wonder if the ignorant sports media is going to degrade Mr. Basketball some more by giving it to another guy from the 101st team in the state.

mrmiyagi enough is enough... downgrading a team is one thing but you cannot take away anything from cody zeller... He was the best player up at the state finals this year and he does what he has to do to help his team win...it doesnt matter what his team is ranked.. if hes one of the top players in the country then give it to him... I know teague is rated higher and probably better than him.. you cant really compare them because they are different positions... But the reason why he is probably going to win it is because his team went farther in the tournament and for what he has done for the Washington Hatchets basketball program... He will be a dominant player in college and he is well deserving of winning the 2011 Indiana Mr. Basketball!

Cody Zeller wasn't even one of the ten best at the HOF when competing against 4a competition. Once again if Teague gets robbed out of Mr. Basketball because Zeller won a crappy 3a title it will show how ignorant the voters are over the difference in classes. I guess Zeller didn't do what his team needed when facing 4a teams this year (0-3), what a joke. I guess winning a so called title without beating a top 100 team is impressive to you but is just another sign of the joke Indiana basketball and Mr. Basketball has become. I will bet there wasn't a Mr. Basketball before class who's team didn't beat a quality 4a team.

Please keep going it better than the funny papers. Hmmm "funny" that seems familiar. I wonder why?

I can't find the schedule and results for when Bouchie played. Does anyone have them? However, after a google I did find where his team went to the sem-state finals twice. I highly doubt they made it that far without beating the best team from either Bloomington, Evansville, New Albany or Terre Haute areas somewhere along the way. That would be a far cry from the teams Washington has to beat under class bball.

I have to agree. It sure is funny how ignorant most people are about the difference between 4a and 3a bball. I haven't quite figured it out yet but it looks like some of you have a fascination with the word funny. Maybe its because most of the Washington fans on here are "funny". You know whats not funny though..........the cheer. Come on ZJS1997 lets cheer........Washington is #101..........Washington is #101.........Washington is #101........now thats some serious stuff there.

Washington's 78-79 team played several 4Ateams- THNorth,THSouth,Bloom.South,BNL, Ev.North,Reitz,Central,Ben Davis,Scottsburg. Bouchie dominated that year and deserved Mr. B.. People in Washington would prefer this type of schedule again but class BBall took over which we voted against. We would love to be in a one class state tournament.

Holy cow, Washington used to play that kind of schedule? That just shows the difference in class bball and what you used to have to play against to win Mr Bball.
