Who is everybody taking for Mr. Basketball this year? The front runners are probably Gary Harris from Hamilton Southeastern and Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell from Indianapolis Park Tudor. Some sleepers though could be Jeremy Hollowell from Lawrence Central and Glenn Robinson III from Lake Central. I'm sure we'd all agree that this year will be a more competitive year for this award than in past years. This race will get even better if Hanner Perea from Laporte La Lamuire is allowed to win it even though his team isn't a member of the IHSAA.

The Mr. Basketball is supposed to go to the best player in the state. You honestly think Kellen Dunham is the best player in the state?

The Mr. Basketball is supposed to go to the best player in the state. You honestly think Kellen Dunham is the best player in the state? You really think Mr Basketball is suppose to go to the best senior. I think that arguement went out the window when Luke Zeller was given the award over Josh. It has continued its downward spiral with the likes of Hayward and Teague being robbed out of the award.

Yes I do think it is to go to the best senior. No Luke Zeller wasn't the best senior in the state. Josh was the best player in the nation. I'll agree with you that Teague should have won it last year. I can't really say anything about Hayward because he was a good player but he wasn't the player he became in college. Tyler Zeller was the #8 recruit in the country last year. He deserved it even though he didn't beat any 4A teams. I know you were gonna mention it and I respect that you have your opinion about how you think 4A is the dominant class because it is, because you grew up with one class system and the teams that won it year in and year out are 4A teams. That's just what you were used to and I understand it. But I honestly want to know myagi who do you think will win the Mr. Basketball?

I think it will be Ferrell or Harris, with an outside chance of it being Hollowell.
Bravesguard - don't you mean Cody instead of Tyler as the #8 recruit last year?

With the year they are having, I think Yogi Ferrell would be the early (ever so slightly) leader.
