I know that Indiana Sports Talk isn't on the air tonight - won't be until tomorrow - but I'm here at least to mention the game I went to tonight.
Huge county battle at North Decatur tonight goes double-overtime before Greensburg beats the home team 55-46. What a way to start the season. Greensburg amps up the defense a notch in the second overtime to go from 2 down to 4 up, and from there it became a free-throw contest with the Pirates hitting 9-10 to close it out.
Both teams won 15 last year, and expect good things from both again this season. Tough game for either team to lose tonight.
What game did you go to? I'm sure this wasn't the only great game tonight. Let us know!

Owen Valley Eastern was a terrific game to watch. OV's Maners had 32 points in an overtime vicotry for OV. OV's Marshall was slowed by a turned ankle but was able to highlight the night with a nasty dunk off of a Maners lob, and have several impressive blocks. Eastern is a good team that will win A LOT of games this year

Went to a south central game last night, Bedford North and Bloomington South. The game wasn't any good BS in a butt kickin , but I got to see a legend, Damon Bailey. He coaches this year for the stars. By the way south has a team this year!!! Look out Wild cats, If I'm correct, the last time south and Wildcats played each other, two years ago, Bloomington beat them!
dawuss, the Mildcats are goin down!! this year to bloomington south.

I'd say you better grab on to your rear this year, I'd say it's all over. This south team is for real ! had Pike all the way. really not a very good game. from what I here.Of course we all know Larry North recruits, it;s hard for a regular team to beat um.

Southside fan is right. Mike Conley, the wildcats ohio state bounds guard, is from alabama before he moved to indy in 7th grade to join Greg Oden. Also, if everything is normal, Greg Oden should be playing basketball in his hometown of Terre Haute right now.

What powerhouse doesn't recruit?
I'll have to remember that stuff for the Bloomington South game, especially if anyone mentions LN Basketball

National Rankings
1. Montrose Christian (MD) 2. Lawrence North (IN) 3. Oak Hill (VA) <------ A real powerhouse (Jerry Stackhouse, Carmelo, Josh Smith)

Greg Oden should be playing basketball in his hometown of Terre Haute right now. Would he have been playing for North or South?
