Ok, so the preseason is over, the Manning Bowl is over, what do you think about this year? Do the Colts have what it takes to get to the playoffs? My resident football expert says no. (18 yr old High school senior. Now you know where I am every Friday night)

Playoffs yes, diehard, but to win to the end they need to really improve on the D side of the ball.

The Horse is as good as in the playoffs. Can they make it deep into the playoffs? Absolutely.
Let's not be too hasty to get on either our run defense or run offense. The reality is that much improvement will be made between week one and week 17...barring injuries. Corey Simon will add a much needed presence against the run, once he's in the rotation. Plus, don't forget that the Giants are VERY good. The Colts went in to a hostile Giant Stadium in front of a national television audience on 9/11 weekend, and took care of business.
Bottom line....if the O line blocks well (which is why they lost to the Steelers last year) and the team is healthy going into the post season, the Colts will not only make the playoffs, they will go to Miami in February!

Hey hasbeen! I like your optimism. But it goes back to the same old Colts problem "O" line blocking for the run. They protect Manning alright. Also, did they stop the Steelers? UH, maybe another problemo'. I can't discount them as one of the top 4 teams this year that have a chance to go all the way. They need to really improve from now to that time.
