When you live in sw indiana sometimes you forget Notre Dame is in Indiana, wishfull thinking Michigan can have South Bend. I just have never been an Irish fan JUST MY OPINION!

This goes out to atthebuzzer,zellerball,zjs, and many others, please don't let these haters ignorant posts stop you from posting. I too root for any kid that is from the state of indiana to exceed at the next level. I for one can not stand Duke, but every time Josh McRoberts laced up for them I was glued to the set to watch him. I was the same way with dominique James as well as many others. I am a Evansville fan and am excited we have someone as talented as Colt on our team. I won't stop posting but it is discouraging to think that an individual, who doesn't know me or what I'm about, can be compelled to make a post like that. I am a huge advocate of respect and I would never - EVER - make a comment like that. I too love to see kids from our state have success no matter where they choose to go to school. I want Zeller to be a star at North Carolina, Byrd at Purdue, Hulls & Elston at Indiana and all the other kids playing D1 ball. Indiana has the best basketball fan base in the country and it is fun for me, and I'm sure most of you, to have a forum like this to banter about our favorite players and teams. However, those who choose to take it to another level spoil it for everyone else. And I know that's their goal. I'm kinda disappointed in myself for even responding. It's very easy to sit behind the keyboard and pretend you're something or somebody you're not. My only recommendation for anyone thinking about posting in this forum is to ask yourself 'would I make this comment face to face?' |

I hope your not upset at me for posting colts stats, because I have seen on other sites where you have posted poor stats about other kids. sometimes I think you and that idiot zjp1997 are the same person. The only game I saw was the KWC preseason game and he shot very poor in that game as well. I really get sick of people on this site bragging about kids when they don't have all the facts. I do think Colt is going to be a good player but if he was playing half as good as you think they would be undefeated. and yes I would say this to your face, I dont give a crap how big you think you are.

How many other Indiana players have made such an impact on their teams as an incoming freshmen? I don't know what your beef is with Ryan or me - other than maybe your super jealous for whatever reason. Additionally, I only post on this and one other site. And if my posts on other players statistics are accurate, what's the problem. Please point out the other sites and my comment so that I can better understand where you're coming from. Ryan shot 41+% from the field against Tennesee Tech - I don't think that too bad. He's in the top 10 in 3 pt field goal percentage, scoring, assists and is #1 in steals and minutes played in the Missouri Valley Conference (and just outside the top 10 in rebounding). So, I'm going to continue to "brag" as you call it. I call it stating the FACTS! Oh, and I don't think I'm big - I AM! |

Look dude, I never mentioned my size (go back and read my post) - you did. I simply confirmed it. Your stats don't make me mad, it's your attitude - and I wouldn't say mad, I'd say sad. And your focus is on a preseason game - give me a break. What about the other games? If you'ld like, I can probably paste in the box scores for all the UE games just so that there is no confusion. You still haven't given me any examples of "posts I've made on other sites" - I'm waiting. I don't claim to know everything on basketball and I've played for years - even coached a little. But I am in no way an expert. 99% of the time, my posts are objective - not subjective. Nobody is twisting your arm to jump on this site and this thread to comment - you choose to do so. I do have a question for you though - what is your motivation? Is it to get under the skin of those who enjoy this forum? Is it to satisify some sort of need for conflict? I've got an idea, you start your own thread on a player or team you wish to focus on and you can go to town. Oh, and what about that stats I laid down for you? Those good enough? I'm not sure but I'm gonna say your a "glass half empty" kinda guy - just a guess. |

Oh yeah, and I just checked the box score on the KW preseason game, Ryan was 2-10 from the field - not 1-12. That's a 12% difference than what you are reporting. Where did you get your data? Agreed, not a very good shooting night but the data you provided is inaccurate - AGAIN! I actually read the box score and am able to back up anything I post. |

I did play HS ball, not 5'10" & definitely not over weight, don't smoke, I did bowl one time when I was in the 4th grade (but didn't like it) - I do like a good ale or lager, not really a domestic beer drinker ...again, just stating the FACTS. Now, I'll ask again - what sites and posts have I made about other players that were negative and not factual? Where do you get your data? And what about the stats a laid down for you - good enough? |
