wow, talk about topic derailment. Who cares which classes are better. We all know deep down 4A is going to be better 90% of the time due to the talent they have to pull from. It's nobody's fault except for the IHSAA. South of Indy there is far less population and 4A schools, so these teams play in the class they were put in. Would Washington, Princeton, Forrest Park, or Ft. Wayne Luers titles have meant more or less if they were in a different class? NO. The kids played with what they had. This board lacks perspective. And at the end of the day this is the state of Indiana, greatest state for high school basketball, and all players that move on to the next level should be celebrated. Some of you people on this board are just bad fans. No perspective.

It was the one class system that made Indiana high school bball the envy of all other states. It no longer has the esteem with the 4 class system. If you don't think those smaller schools titles would have meant more if they could have won it all in the one class system then you have no perspective. In reality we all know none of them would have won a state title if the one class system still existed.

. FP is easily the best team in southern Indiana. IMO Castle is the best team in southern Indiana. I feel like they would beat Forest Park although FP would give them a great game.

Castle does have a very good team!!! And just like the FP park beating Washington early in the year doesnt hold much merit at this stage in the season, neither does how Washington handled Castle in the scrimmage, out scoring them in every section of the scrimmage the first 3 by 10+ /the next by 4 or 5/the last segment Castle did outscore Washington, but Castle didnt have an anwer for Cody either, BUT THAT WAS A PRE SEASON SCRIMMAGE I AM NOT SAYING WHS WOULD WIN EASY AT THIS POINT at think it would be a great game

I love how easily Washington fans dismiss early losses. They think they'rer the only team in the state to improve throughout the year, Did you ever stop to think maybe Forest Park is just the best team you've played all season. I'm sure Central couldn't beat you guys now. By the end of the season the two losses at the Hall of Fame will also be due to some unforseen reason. It's never because another team is just better. I'm sure after playing enough weak 3A teams in a row you guys will forget how much better the other classes are than 3A.

So bluechip, you are really staying with Forest Park as the best team in the South? I didn't realize that Barr-Reeve, Loogootee, South Spencer, North Posey, NE Dubois, Perry Central, Heritage Hills, Tecumseh, Wood Memorial, Clay City, Southridge, Tell City, Crawford County, and Springs Valley were the elite competition that you speak of. They have 2 quality wins with Washington and Mater Dei. They have Boonville tonight, the first test they have had since Washington. 1A schools are the reason we no longer have the best tournament in the country. Hey but you keep blowing that 1A and 2A class being the best horn.

FP beating North Posey is much more impressive than beating Mater Dei. Forest Park has yet to lose (including a game played against the Hatchets) so I don't think they have to prove anything.

Forest Park wins against another weak 3A team. 18-0 and looking for another trip to state. The Rangers prove once again they are the best team in southern Indiana.

Princeton would RUN Forest Park not only out of the gym but back to the bus and all the way home, that would be a 20+ point beat down

Bluechip you better check the score on what Princeton did to Boonville and FP put up what 46 pts or so??? Princeton almost beat them by as much as FP scored in the whole game!

ZJS you might want to check what Forest Park did to Washington compared to what Princeton did.

This is Hilarious. Washington can't even admit a 2a team that beat them is better but get mad whe I say 4a is the best. The best part is, they can't remember the last time they beat a decent 4a team.
