Thats why Muyagi cant answer questions about Carmel or the Indy area unless you refer to the obvious stars from that area like Oden and McRoberts or Teague

Congrats to Forest Park on beating Boonville. Boonville has some good players so that was a good win. Tigertail, i know Mater Dei is down this year, but generally it's a quality win if you can beat those guys. I will put Forest Park in the top 5 for best in the south. Others would be Castle, Washington, Bloomington South, and Princeton. I think Princeton is the beast in the south if they are on with Bloomington South right behind them. But I do agree with Mr. Miyagi on the 4A being the best. I lived in Indy for 3 years and those games are full of athletes that play above the rim. But the fans in the south are the best. As you can tell by this board. I'm sort of new to this board so can someone help me with something. What is all the slamming of Washington Fans about?

Here is a funny stat. Gary Wallace being ranked 14th in 3A with a record of 5-10. But their strength of schedule is a 23.8. A 23.8 is about what the Indy teams get.

Tired of them winning but they will be happy and talking even more when Washington does start losing next yr. I am not stupid I know they will and I know they are very good team right now but some just don't like it and never will.
And over the yrs just like there is with all teams that win some there are some pretty dumb kids or fans that get on here and talk to much crap about stuff. I don't like what some say but have learned they won't change. I don't try to apologize to anyone about what washington fans say any more because the others that attack are to narrow minded to except or even reason with anyone. This is a funny board to read but the least likely one I would go to for good knowledgeable basketball talk.

miyagi and bluechip same person different log in!!! Yes FP won but why couldnt FP beat Boonville as bad as Princeton did? Answer that! That was my question!! Have no clue who miyagi is but thanks for the compliment. Now to your question. Boonville had Washington all but beat and WHS squeeked out a late win. So how did WHS handle Princeton so easy?

And I shouldn't say knowledgeable because some are about many teams but maybe just sensible basketball talk. Some feel they have to be on the attack all the time. That is what makes others jump in its just no worth the work or trouble to even try and make a valid point.

Were you at the game? Do you know the history of last yr and how absolute jacked they were to play? Also who beat Princeton in sectional the yr before? A lot of those 2 games had to do with revenge/rematches. Not saying Washington shouldn't have won by more or even that they should have been beaten because they could have but they survived a pretty jacked team and crowd and won. A win is a win right? Anyway that is what I saw from that game.

[glow=red,2,300]So how did WHS handle Princeton so easy? [/glow] Washington played very well, both offense and defense. Tigers had an off night, and apparantly dealing with some sickness (Packer and R.Chavis puking near the end of the game). No discredit to WHS, they played a great game and would have won regardless of PCHS health. Sometimes you got it going (Reitz game in Toyota Classic for the Tigers) and sometimes you can't. It will be nice to see C. Zeller wearing red and white candystripe warmups next year I think...enough of the black and gold...GO TIGERS!

This is a funny board to read but the least likely one I would go to for good knowledgeable basketball talk. I agree with most all of your comments above. Much of the mean spirited posts against the Hatchets is nothing but jealousy. The Hatchets have had unbelievalbe success over the past few years and while I certainly would love to see the Tigers get revenge in the regional, I respect the Hatchets and all they have done tremendously. Every school has obnoxious fans AND posters, it's too bad that some on here make such outrageous posts that it reflects badly on the school and fans of that team. In regard to the posts about this team beating that team and that in turn means this team will beat this team by this much. It's all a joke, on any given night teams like Washington, Princeton, Forest Park or Castle could beat each other depending on who has a good or bad game. In a few weeks we will then be able to say who the best team was (in each class at least) but unfortunately due to class basketball we may never know who is truly the better team is.

The only jealousy I have seen comes from the smaller schools. They were so jealous that 4a was dominating the tourney so much that they voted in class basketball.

The only jealousy I have seen comes from the smaller schools. They were so jealous that 4a was dominating the tourney so much that they voted in class basketball. Get your facts straight. Class basketball was created to get Washington out of their 1A sectional where they were constantly embarrassed on their home floor. They begged the IHSAA stating that it was only fair to play weaker competition as they couldn't compete in the small school sectional, even though it was held in their own gym. Washington provided the IHSAA with 12 years of evidence (1984-1996) and the rest is history.
